UMTS Outdoor IP Video Surveillance Camera From Brickcom

The megapixel outdoor camera GOB-100AP-73 from Brickcom has an integrated 3G UMTS gateway for transfering images directly into the mobile communications network. By independence from DSL flexible video surveillance solutions are realisable for construction sites or traffic supervisions.

The highly integrated IP-camera system can be used for example in areas without DSL availability, in which the coverage of WLAN does not sufficient to realize a connection. The constant expansion of the UMTS extension and the increase of the available data rates through modern methods like HSDPA or HSDUPA make UMTS to a real option for modern surveillance. And also by decreasing flat-rate pricess.

The GOB-100AP-73 combines robustness with high technology. The weatherproof housing conforms to IP67 protection class and resits, thanks to the active air-conditioning system, temperature form -40 up to +60 degree Celsius. The power supply occurs via data cable and is realized through the integrated POE+ attachment.

Good image dynamics, even at night applications
The progressive scan sensor provides sharp images and vibrant color at a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a maximum of 30 frames per second. In light levels from a Lux upwards the combination of high quality image sensor and built-in infrared technology provides excellent night images. The three-way memory Dual Stream (H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG) and technically well-implemented compression enable a bandwidth efficient transmission of live images without noticeable losses in image quality. In addition the CS-mount motor zoom varifocal lens of the manufacturer Computar enables a simple readjustment of perspective through the user interface of the camera.

Integrated Micro-SD slot for local data storage
The Micro-SD/SDHC-Slot also allows the local recording of video data. So the continuous recording is ensured in case of connection problems. The digital input and output complete the comprehensive concept of GOB-100AP-73. This function controls the activation of sensors, door contacts or sirens.

Recording Software for up to 64 splits
Brickcom´s GOB-100AP-73 offers a high added value on the software side. A recording software that captures simultaneously up to 64 splits is included in the price. The german-language user interface provides comprehensive functions. The Easy Link function simplifies for example the bringing into service, because the configuration of the upstream routers, specific ports and the assignment of IP addresses are completely eliminated. Multicasting, two-way audio as well as extensive multi-zone motion detection and triggering functions complete Brickcom´s video surveillance system.
