The Infralan PMS ensures efficient processes, improves response time and documents interferences in the physical infrastructure for the proof of conformity with regulatory compliance. By using the latest RFID transponder technology the PMS is retrofit for fiber optic and copper cabling technology without interferences in running processes.

Retrofit Without Interference In Running Prozesses

The Infralan PMS consisting of transponder, LED indicator bar, rack modul and management software is specialy intended for an esay installation. All components are retrofit without the interruption of running processes and adequate with all kinds of patch cable. The already precoded transponder will be attached in pairs on the patch cable without pulling. The indicator bars are universal programmable for 16, 24 and 32 ports and will screw ahead of the patch fields using fixing kits. The space-saving rack module connects the indicator bar with the central management software.

Surveillance Of The Physical Layer with Alert Funktion

The central management console of the Infralan PMS collects all patches about an unique allocated coding. The integreted mapping function arranges ports accoridng to facility and floor up to the exact position in the rack. Also the relative equipment and connection typ is collected. Every change of patch constitutional is shown about the integrated alert system by LED on the indicator bar in the rack and is documented into the software. With an detailed tree structur changes are easy to located and occurent disturbances could resolve quickly.

Anticipatory Planing Of Patch Orders And Compensation Of Error Sources

Stable systems status are saved inside the management software as snapshot and are every time recoverable. Patch orders for upcoming extensions or technology changes are foresight to plan with the Infralan PMS. Once attached, the patch orders could trigger exactly in time and execute as batch orders. The leading of the technicians occurs visually and cleary with the LED´s of the indicator bars, so errors sources and downtimes are minimized largly.
