The Production
National production focuses on all conventional types of copper and fibre-optic cables as well as special cables for industrial components, systems and machines. Further emphasis of production is on the manufacture of server and network cabinets as well as passive copper and fibre-optic cable components. All of our production and assembly machines are "state-of-the-art".
In addition, our position in the market is not only strengthened by our affiliation to THK Holding, our expertise in computing and networking is constantly up-to-date with the latest technological advances in this field.

Numerous primary products for components and cables for computing and networking do not come from external suppliers, but are developed and manufactured in our own facilities
- Anlage Glasfaserverarbeitung
Cable production therefore takes place at EFB Elektronik for commercial and industrial fibre-optic cables, for example, using our own production processes. The finished components are assembled or mounted at our manufacturing facility in Sonneberg.
- Vorproduktion Schranksysteme
For sheet fabrication for server and network cabinets and passive copper and fibre-optic cable components, EFB Elektronik uses its own production lines and production processes.
- Kupferkabelfertigung
This applies similarly to the manufacture of copper cables. Whether large orders or small series – EFB Elektronik produces all conventional types of cables for computing and networking as well as telecommunications
Assembling
Final production and assembly
Standardised and customised copper and fibre-optic cable assemblies are processed at EFB-Elektronik on time and in the highest quality.
- Glasfaserkonfektion
The fibre-optic cable assembly facility in Sonneberg, Thuringia accepts all orders for the completion of all fibre-optic cables and many other fibre-optic cable components.
- Kupferkabelkonfektion
The copper cable assembly facility in Bielefeld is equipped for the small-series production of all conventional copper cable assemblies and special cable assemblies and components for the industrial sector.

- High-performance fully automatic machine 'Makfil Andromeda'
In order to keep our quality promise, EFB-Elektronik uses fully automatic and semi-automatic machines for production and assembly and qualified personnel. The high-performance fully automatic machine 'Makfil Andromeda' is used for the production of single contacts.
For the multi-stage cutting and stripping of multi-strand cables, diverse 'Schleuniger machines' are used. For copper cable assembly, trained employees use insulation piercing connecting devices and resistance welding equipment for single and multi-sided compacting.
Customer requirements for individual cable markings are taken fully into account using thermal transfer printers, ink jet printers and fully automatic labellers.
