Internship and thesis

EFB-Elektronik offers students the opportunity of completing an internship as part of their academic course, followed by a bachelor or master thesis.

Internships last for a number of months and give an impression of the work areas and professional practice. Both sides benefit of new impetus and suggestions by young professionals. Such an internship has frequently led to a continued successful cooperation. An internship at EFB-Elektronik also offers an opportunity to develop cross-cultural skills. This is achieved by offering our students the opportunity of a temporary posting in one of our international subsidiary companies. They contribute their learned skills and gain new experiences in a foreign country.

Cross-cultural exchange between countries also greatly facilitates the development of advanced social skills and of course improves existing foreign language skills. Internships are available at our subsidiary companies in Denmark, Turkey and Austria. An internship at EFB-Elektronik also includes the implementation of initial own projects, depending on the supervising department. These projects frequently form the basis for a business-relevant thesis on an agreed topic.

Irene’s success story

After having completed her apprenticeship, Irene was looking for a combination of excellent future prospects as well as a diverse, never boring set of tasks. The apprenticeship for future industrial clerks at EFB offered exactly that. Her excellent results and her achievement in completing the apprenticeship faster than scheduled confirmed that it was the right decision. The professional development of our personnel is a continuous process at EFB-Elektronik.

This is why we continued to support Irene after her apprenticeship in attending numerous seminars and workshops offered by our purchasing department. Irene regularly attends classes in the area of custom tariffs and works as EFB’s internal auditor. But that’s not the end of the story just yet! In the autumn of 2013, Irene decided to advance her career even further and enrolled in a combined Bachelor curriculum - with the full backing of EFB-Elektronik.

She has by now also completed our internal young potentials program for the support of upcoming managers, and we are certain: Her success story at EFB-Elektronik has only just started!

We look forward to receiving your application! Our human resources department is happy to assist you in all your questions relating to the application process.
