The FVT-2201 SMF SC media converter can convert network signals between copper and fiber-based networks. The converter is equipped with a 10/100Base-TX RJ-45 port, supports full-duplex and half-duplex switch connectivity and 10Base-T and 100Base-TX automatic detection. When used in multi-mode with fiber optic cabling, the network range can be extended up to 20 km.

The device has integrated dip switches for easy converter configuration, is based on the intelligent LFP (Link Fault Pass-through), which means the converter Can monitor both fiber optic and copper connections for signal loss.

The FVT-2201 can work at temperatures from -10° to 55° Celsius. The converter can be used as a standalone system or as a plug-in module in the CHV-2000 19-inch converter rack, which can hold up to 14 devices for use in a central distribution cabinet.
