Fiber types of our trunk wires
- OS2 9/125: The OS2 are singlemode cables. However, they are specially optimised for highest performance over long distances.
- Multimode 50/125, OM1 62.5/125, OM2 50/125, OM3 50/125, OM4 50/125, and OM5 50/125: These cables are multimode fibers (MMF). Usually, they are suitable for shorter distances. The OM classifications represent different performance levels depending on the transmission rate.
