The pull-out splice box from EFB-Elektronik is designed for the structured pick-up of splices and the clear management of single-mode fibre optic connections in a 19-inch rack. It is intended for OS2 according to ITU-T G.652.D and Single-mode 9/125 and combines a service-friendly design with pre-assembled SC duplex couplings.
• 1U, 19-inch pull-out design – Allows for compact integration into the rack and makes it easy to access the splice level for maintenance and removal.
• Front panel with 12 SC duplex couplings in a vertical orientation – Ensures a clean port structure and clear assembly of the fibre optic links.
• 24 prepared SC pigtails with LSZH jacket and 2 m length – Support efficient splicing organisation and reduce installation effort.
The sheet steel housing in grey according to RAL 7035 is designed for professional 19-inch installation and supports the clean guidance of the fibre optic lines. The vertically aligned SC duplex couplings, the ceramic ferrule guide and the 24 prepared pigtails with LSZH sheath and 0.9 mm diameter are designed for use in the single-mode environment. Two splice cassettes, each with 4 splice slots, as well as pre-assembled crimp/ANT splice holders and enclosed shrink splice holders complement the flexible splice organisation.
