The pull-out splice box from EFB-Elektronik is designed for the structured pick-up of splices and the clear management of single-mode fibre optic connections in a 19-inch rack. The 1U version combines a compact design with service-friendly access and is designed for OS2 according to ITU-T G.652.D and 9/125.
• Extendable 1U 19" design – Allows for compact integration into the rack and makes it easy to access the splice level for maintenance and expansion.
• Front panel with 24 LC duplex couplings – Ensures a clearly structured, pre-terminated assembly of the single-mode connectors and keeps the rack front uncluttered.
• 48 prepared LC pigtails with LSZH jacket and 2 m length – Support clean splicing organisation and reduce installation effort in the field.
The splice box has a sheet steel housing in grey according to RAL 7035 and is designed for the clean routing of single-mode lines. The LC duplex couplings with ceramic ferrule guide and the LSZH-coated pigtails support use in professional OS2 installations. Pre-assembled crimp/ANT splice holders and enclosed shrink splice holders enable flexible and traceable splice organisation.
