The USB-C™ Active Optical Link Cable uses electrical-to-optical conversion on the cable ends to improve speed performance and exclude electromagnetic interference from the cable, which is capable of supporting much longer distances than standard cable in copper. With an ultra-slim profile and long range, USB AOC breaks the barrier of distance and introduces USB-C™ devices to a whole new range of applications, such as long-distance viewing, security and high-definition surveillance, the control of industrial and medical machines.
It supports UHD resolutions up to 4K/60Hz and bandwidths up to 21.6Gbps. The diameter of the cable is only 4.2 mm and allows for a small bending radius.
