The extendable splice box from EFB-Elektronik is designed for the structured pick-up of splices in 19-inch racks and supports the clear setup of single-mode connections based on OS2. The 1U version combines a compact design with pre-assembled LC/APC duplex couplings and 12 prepared pigtails.
• 1U, 19-inch extendable design – Allows for space-saving integration in the rack and makes it easy to access the splice level for maintenance and expansion.
• Front panel with 6 LC/APC duplex couplings and 6 blanking plugs – Ensures clean, pre-assembled assembly and keeps unused positions reliably closed.
• 12 prepared LC/APC pigtails with LSZH jacket and 2 m length – Supporting orderly splicing organisation and reducing installation effort.
The design is adapted to single-mode 9/125 and OS2 according to ITU-T G.652.D. LC/APC duplex couplings with ceramic ferrule guide support a precise connection in the professional fibre optic environment. The sheet steel housing in grey according to RAL 7035 and the extendable 19-inch assembly facilitate assembly and maintenance. Pre-assembled crimp/ANT splice holders and enclosed shrink splice holders create additional flexibility in splice organisation.
