IDATA EXT-E223 is an HDMI extender which includes a transmitter unit and a receiver unit. Allows HDMI signal transmission up to 70 meters at 1080p resolution using a Cat6 / 6A / 7 network cable. Adopts point-to-point connection configuration, supports bidirectional IR pass-back and 3.5mm stereo audio output. It is perfect for outdoor advertising, as a monitoring system, home entertainment, conferencing and more.

EDID learning function
Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) exchange is the method used by a display to communicate its capabilities and characteristics to a source device.
This communication is necessary to transmit the operational functions (such as native resolution, frequency…), from the connected source and therefore, allow to generate the video characteristics necessary to meet the needs of the display. It maximizes compatibility between devices without requiring the user to manually configure them, thus reducing the danger of incorrect settings and adjustments that could compromise the quality of the displayed images and the overall reliability of the system.
