Copper cable services

Production of specific copper cable assemblies: From basic single lines to multi-component cable sets and complex cable harnesses. Installation of assemblies.
Technical services such as soldering, crimping, insulation displacement connections, press fittings, compaction, screw connections, etc. with technical supervision in the process
In-house manufacture – from manual workstations to fully automated machinery.
Processing of all types of cable, including single-stranded, flat and round cable, unshielded or shielded, coaxial cable, hybrid cable, with cross-sections of 0.05 mm² - 185 mm²
Processing of plug connectors made by TE, Molex, JST, Hirose, Deutsch, FCI, Samtec, Binder, Harting and others
Marking of strands/wires by ink-jet printing, thermal transfer printing, wrap labels, printing of markers, foils and heat shrink tubes.

Special measurements for trunk-, patch- and fiber optic cables

With measurements available for all EFB copper and fiber optic assemblies, our customers can rest assured that the products they select precisely meet their special requirements or the preferences of their clients.
We offer a variety of testing options at our production facilities in Bielefeld and Sonneberg. After a cable is tested, it is given a serial number, so that every single assembly can be traced back to its measurements. This lets our customers know exactly what they're installing.
Attenuation measurement
A light/current pulse is emitted by a transmitter into the fiber optic/copper cables, narrowed by attenuating elements and analysed by a receiver (power metre) which uses the output power as a basis.
  • Measurement of the total loss for the entire section
OTDR measurement
A continuously backscattered light pulse is injected into the optical fiber. Based on the measurement curve, it is possible to display attenuating/reflective events: Measurement of the total loss for the entire section or for individual subsections Identification of effects, e.g. attenuation, produced by plug connectors or splices Reliable detection of the distance of fault locations, the end of the fiber or elements integrated in the line (splices, plug connectors, etc.)
Interferometer measurement
A three-dimensional measurement of the connector geometry with subsequent evaluation relating to the respective standardization.

Measurement of the different connector types:
  • Increased attenuation is detected
  • Over- or undersanding of polish becomes visible
